We are Chris & Stephanie, the husband and wife couple behind Benne and the host of the Better Together Travel YouTube Channel and Unpacked Podcast.

The “secret sauce” to our relationship is our shared love of travel, which we balance with our full-time jobs in finance and technology industries. Ours is a blended family, with 9 children and 6 grandchildren, which requires a reasonable budget beyond just our daily expenses. And, being very close the “empty nesters” phase of our life, an early retirement drives our financial strategy.

For us, discovering the benefits of using credit cards to turn everyday expenses and big purchases into cash, points, and miles has enabled us to enjoy a very signficant travel itinerary. We carry no long-term debt beyond our home and investment properties, and regularly have “business meetings” to make sure we’re aligned on our goals & objectives.
