As we’ve built our database, we tried using the referral links we have with our cards. We hope you can understand why – this project has costs; if we’re able to get referral points and miles, it helps make it more worthwhile.

But….it looks like the number of people who can use those links (or, at least click the link) is limited, which causes a message that basically says “uh, you can’t use that link”. Ugh.

So, please be patient with us as we go through about 20 of the credit cards and change the Apply link to the generic link to the credit cards apply page. Hopefully we’ll get to the point where the credit card companies will allow us to receive referrals.

That said – it has no impact whatsoever on our scoring or suggested credit cards. Thank for understanding!
